I Hope You Know To Whom You're Talking To!

So a guy aged about 60 years old was waiting for a cup of coffee in a coffee shop. A 5-year-old kid reached his table and stood there, looking at him while waiting for her parents to enter the restaurant. He ignored her because in his mind he thinks that she is rude because she didn't smile or greet him. They both didn't talk with each other and the kids parents came in and they all walked towards a different table and sat.

Now imagine this!  A guy aged about 60 years old was waiting  for a cup of coffee in a coffee shop and a 5-year-old kid reached his table and stood there, looking at him while waiting for her parents. He noticed that she was standing there, afraid to talk and at the same time trying to grab his attention.

He greeted that girl by saying, "Hello, good morning. What is your sweet name?" She replied by saying," I'm Sally, what's your name?" with a big smile on her face. They had quite a bit of conversation and her parents entered the room smiled at that old guy saying sorry if the kid disturbed him. They all sat there with the old man as he requested and they all had a great conversation together. At the end of the day, that old guy walked out from the coffee shop feeling great and happy as the incident made his day.

No matter how old you are, give respect and take respect. Why do you have to have so much of ego in you that you must wait for others to greet you first? If you know what manners is and you're expecting it from others, then please preach it first.
