Burnout? That's not something alien to me. I work 24/7 as a content creator and not knowing what awaits me in life causes too much stress and anxiety and the result is BURNOUT. When it happens, all I do is to shower. 


Yes. It is as simple as that. Shower. 

Showering is the daily activity, a norm, hence we took it for granted. Do you know that by showering, you can actually heal, regain and restore your energy? Most of the time, the articles suggest us to take bath and soak ourselves in the bathtub as a form of self-care. It works but that's not what I am going to suggest.

Now you are showering on a daily basis, how is it that you don't felt restored or regained before? Because you're doing it all wrong. 


I am not asking you to do this on daily basis. While we have a schedule to catch up on, we need some self-care time. Use that.

Instead of watching your favourite movie, do this instead:

Set the bathroom beforehand right before you take bath. Spray your favourite scent or light up your favourite scented candle. When your bathroom is scented ready, its time. Play relaxing music. Now have the water temperature warmer and make sure that it rains all over you. While the water flows on you, just imagine like all your problems are washing away. Imagine the problems are like mud all around you, as the water washes you, the mud gets washed away too. Go with the flow now. Enjoy the music and the fragrance around you. Think of happy thoughts. Anything that excites you. If you don't have any then don't think about anything at all. Focus on the music and enjoy the water flow. Breathe and out. Let go. Now as you feel better and your mood gets elevated, leave the bath when you feel all clean from those muds.

Trust me, by the time you're ready to leave the bathroom, you will be immersed in a lot of happy feelings. 

Here are how taking a bath can benefit you in a lot of ways.

A warm bath can

4. Improve your mood

5. Relaxes your muscles and joint pain

And ladies and gentleman, that's how I heal restore and regain myself from a very heavy day. I am able to function well and work full speed right after it. Also, I usually able to sleep well that night.


The whole process of taking a rejuvenating bath doesn't have to be long.10 minutes will do!
