Don't Do This When You Have Anxiety- Don't try to fight anxiety, let it be

When you feel anxious, don't fight it...let it be.

It's natural that when you have anxiety you will try to fight it. Just so it will go away. One of the most vital things to know about anxiety is that avoidance does not work.

 The harder you try to not feel anxious, the more anxious you will feel. The more you avoid situations that make you anxious, the more anxious you will be in the long run. 

So what should you do instead? 

1. Accept it. Instead of fighting the anxiety, allow the anxiety to be there. 

2. Stop giving anxiety importance in your life. Don't treat anxiety as a problem, and the anxiety eventually backs down without you having to do anything about it.
