I love high tea in particular as it has all the sweet and savour stuff in pairs and we can get to enjoy it slowly while having a great conversation with our loved ones.
Also, the varieties of servings during high tea are mostly whats my focus is on. High teas are usually quite pricy but at The Verandah with just RM 68 nett for 2 people you can now enjoy your lovely time with your loved ones for afternoon tea.
The Afternoon Tea offers Crispy Shredded Chicken with Pepper Flavor; Healthy Tuna Sandwich, Smoked Salmon & Asparagus on Crispy Potatoes, Carrot vs Peanut Butter. Of course, it could not be complete if the afternoon tea was now been paired with Orange Peel Scones which paired with clotted cream and jam.`
I was completely in love with the Tuna sandwich as the filling was extremely delicious.
I was in love with this chicken dish as well. As it gave me a break from all the sweet stuff and I was able to fill my mouth with saltiness. It gave a perfect balance. I was only able to finish my entire high tea set because of this balance that the kitchen prepared. Brilliant idea seriously.
The Afternoon Tea also consists of beautiful looking Lavendar Mousseline to Macaroon, Lemonade S’more Tartled and Brownies Cheese Cakes.
All these will be paired with a complimentary beverage of diners choice on Tea (ranging from Earl Grey to Camomile to Green Tea) or Coffee (with a selection of either Latte, Cappuccino or Black Coffee)
As of me, I love to pair it with a cup of coffee so it cuts down all the sweetness and I would be able to continue to eat more sweet cakes.
