CiEdge Adventure Launches XTVT - An App for Travellers

CiEdge Adventure Sdn. Bhd today officially launched the XTVT Malaysia app, a travel app to connect travellers with the ever-growing number of locally run activities around Malaysia.

Malaysia has more to offer than the few landmarks, activities and traits that has been overly promoted to the rest of the world. XTVT makes it possible for tourists to find these hidden gems in Malaysia by showcasing and guiding travellers to what Mlayasua has to offer from a local perspective which inspired the tagline "Discover Malaysia Like a Local".

The launch was officiated by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, YB Tuan Muhammad Bakhtiar bin Wan Chik at Sunway Putra Mall, Kuala Lumpur.

A video showcasing the XTVT  app features was played to demonstrate its usefulness and ease of navigation. Viewers were introduced to the 12 categories of activities to choose from in the app, its capabilities of navigating users to the nearest tourist hotspots with reference to the map, and its booking feature in collaboration of affiliate partner.

A special showcase provided a sneak peek of what is in store for users when YB Tuan Muhammad Bakhtiar bin Wan Chik experienced tourist sights of Kelantan via Virtual Reality technology.

XTVT is gaining interest from key players in the tourism industry that range from government, corporate, social agencies. This is due to XTVT's full support of Visit Malaysia 2020 campaign and its goal of achieving 30 million international tourists' arrival and RM100 billion tourist receipts with focus on ecotourism, arts and culture.
