5 Reasons On Why You Should Eat at Lucky Cuisine Restaurant, Dataran Sunway

So I was invited to a food review at Dataran Sunway and since I am a little familiar with that place I did not think twice and went. As usual, I didn't bother doing a background check as I preferred hands-on experience on how the interior and the food are.

ChongQing Fried Chicken with Hot Chili (Lucky Cuisine)

To my surprise, apparently, we were invited to try their new menu and which I didn't note of course. When they served us a decent 8 meals I was rather calm and only then other bloggers broke the news to me that it will be 22 dished to be tried.

I choked of course. What is going to happen to my so called diet which I have never once practised? Even today I am going to have to say that, "Tomorrow I will diet for sure." *My tomorrow is never coming.

In conclusion, I can give 5 reasons on why you should visit Lucky Cuisine in Dataran Sunway.

Deep Fried Dory Fish with Celery (Lucky Cuisine)

1. It is a Schezuan cuisine

To those who have no idea what Schezuan cuisine or Sichuan cuisine means, it is a Chinese Cuisine based from Sichuan province in southwestern China. It has bold flavours, particularly the pungency and spiciness resulting from liberal use of garlic and chilli peppers, as well as the unique flavour of Sichuan pepper. So to those of you who are curious about Sichuan cuisine then you should totally try this place out. Personally, I had a totally new experience as it was my first time trying out Sichuan cuisine. I had to take some time to get used to it as the unique flavours got me into surprise and now I am a fan of Sichuan cuisine.

2. You will get an experience of you have been in China.
The interior is, of course, the first thing I notice whichever place I go to review. Lucky Cuisine is now on my list of places to go for family dinner as it was really beautiful. I really liked the entrance on the second floor as it felt like I am entering an ancient place in China. They definitely nailed it when it comes to bringing China in Malaysia. The glass jar to lights to bamboos to the table setting screamed out loud China.

3. The presentation of the food was pleasant
The presentation of the food was rather decent and was pleasant to look at. It was straight from the stove and it wasn't as exotic as how it is when they serve in a hotel. Somehow it looked very appealing at the first sight where it triggered my hunger though I wasn't truly hungry.

4. Good customer service
The customer service was really good as the waitress are always around to serve us. They do not take hours to take our orders and also another hour to re-entertain our orders after we had our meals. I also liked how polite they were. Maybe, it was because I was too polite too so they treated my vice versa. Sometimes, it is us who will set on how the waitress will treat us. When you're too arrogant, you can expect them to bow to you like in Japan right?

5. It tastes good!
I loved Sichuan cuisine. It was 22 dishes in total and I really took my time to try one by one and chose on what I liked and I didn't. See what I liked can't be said that you will like it too. Also, what I hated can't be said that you will hate it too. We humans, unfortunately, have different taste buds due to the different culture and also different brought ups. So I shall let you judge yourself but at the moment these are my favourites.
