Coming from an ordinary family, I already knew that all I wanted to do is to be a film director when I was 15 itself. My first film was supposed to be a horror flick. I had everything from producers to casts to a decent budget but the project didn't take place.
When we were lost, we planned on Geethayin Raadhai, that's when the robbery happened in my house. All traumatised, not having enough budget to shoot a film, not having a team, resorted to one thing- to be an independent filmmaker. We did everything on our own.
Struggles didn't just stop there...
